What you will be doing

This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Battery Team. You will lead the backend activities across multiple client projects and plays an important role in ensuring continuous improvements in the battery performance gains and process efficiency. As a battery expert, you will be analysing simulation and test data and from there, provide technical solutions to cross-functional teams for improving better battery performance and ensuring the seamless integration of our software in diverse applications. You will be designing battery-in-the-loop test and running battery simulations for evaluating and verifying our embedded products

Your day to day

• Plan, execute and coordinate lab testing, model simulation, data analysis
• Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the backend activities, including battery-in-the-loop testing, software simulation and post-mortem analysis
• In-depth battery performance data analysis and technical reporting, to support external delivery and internal process improvements
• Collaborate with testing/software team and external partners/vendors to ensure robust and high-quality performance testing

Your background

• In-depth understanding of battery behaviours and fundamentals at cell level
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar programming languages
• Proven track record in battery test design and data analysis
• Understanding of battery management systems is a plus, but not essential
• Ability to collaborate with other departments in a kind and conscientious manner
