Join our dynamic Audit team and play a crucial role in assessing and enhancing the control environment for our CEM, Commodities, and Digital Markets businesses. As a Senior Auditor, you will have the opportunity to work with global colleagues and develop a deep understanding of our innovative markets.
As a Senior Auditor in the EMEA Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM), Commodities, and Digital Markets Audit Team, you will be instrumental in executing the annual audit plan and managing audit engagements. You will work closely with global colleagues to identify emerging control issues and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) Markets and contribute to our culture of innovation.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document audit reports, including risk assessments and audit testing.
- Collaborate with global Audit colleagues to identify and report emerging control issues.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of information in accordance with firm policy.
- Partner with stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships while ensuring independence.
- Finalize audit findings and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- Take ownership of self-development and seek opportunities for continued learning.
- Champion a culture of innovation and follow 'How We Do Business' Principles.
- Stay updated with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Drive efficiency through automation and embrace new technologies.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Proven internal or external auditing experience, or relevant business experience.
- Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) required.
- Experience with internal audit methodology and audit delivery.
- Solid understanding of internal control concepts and risk evaluation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build partnerships with senior partners.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing internal control weaknesses.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure.
- Flexible to changing business priorities and able to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- CPA, CIA, and/or Advanced Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
