About the role

DWF LLP is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Associate to join our expanding Scottish Real Estate team. The successful candidate will be based in our Glasgow office.

You will be joining a friendly supportive team dedicated to excellent client service. This is a fast-paced role and the successful candidate will have exposure to clients on a regular basis. The successful candidate will be working with a number of leading and well known investment and development funds based out of Scotland, London and occasionally internationally too. The work will be varied and interesting.

The wider Real Estate practice at DWF is highly regarded by the independent directories Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 and is regarded by market commentators as one of the leading practices in the UK market in recent years. Our Real Estate Practice Group deal with all aspects of real estate legal issues, including high-value acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management, development and funding matters relating to all kinds of real estate investments. We act for occupiers, developers, funders and professionals across different sectors. We also work with landlords and tenants within the institutional, telecoms, corporate, retail and public sectors.

About you

  • Commercial Real Estate experience and confidence in terms of client relationships.
  • Solid drafting skills are a requirement in this role as well as a solid background in investment, development, asset management, real estate finance and strategic land work from time to time.
  • Demonstrate a drive to succeed, and an enthusiasm to engage with clients.
  • Has the ability to work as of a team in addition to being confident working under your own initiative.
  • Excellent presentation and client handling skills, and a real desire to develop their career at DWF.
