We are looking for a motivated Content Manager to join our content team. As Content Manager, you will assist in the development and execution of content initiatives. You should have video strategy and production experience. You will work closely with the Content Production manager and content creators to deliver engaging content that supports business objectives. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Role Responsibilities
- Content Support:
- Assist in developing and implementing content strategies.
- Contribute to brainstorming new content ideas for clients.
- Support the Content Production Director with daily tasks and project coordination.
- Help maintain content calendars and workflows for various formats.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Work with the Insights and SEO team to ensure ideas are informed by data and best practices.
- Content Production:
- Support on video, audio & design content production.
- Support with video scripts where necessary
- Support with storyboarding & conceptualizing ideas
- Support with treatments
- Develop video and design skills so that we are able to produce in-house content creation.
- Technically proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Audition & After Effects)
- Client Relationship Management:
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and the successful delivery of content campaigns.
- Guide the team in understanding client goals, objectives, and requirements to develop effective content strategies.
- Set standards for client communication, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for team members to upsell and cross-sell additional content services.
- Be a point of escalation for clients and help problem solve their concerns
- Project Coordination:
- Put together and maintain project management task tracking via tools or excel
- Help ensure content projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support processes for collaborating with internal teams and freelancers, including copywriters, designers, and video editors.
- Support quality assurance standards and ensure content meets client expectations and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Help with shoot planning and execution, ensuring content captured meets client expectations.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for content campaigns and overall content performance.
- Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Present regular reports and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge and Best Practices:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content strategy and production
- Support senior team members to enhance content strategies and production processes
Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in content production
- Experience in content strategies and best practices.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with various content management systems and project management software
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive new business and revenue growth
- Financially numerate and confident with spreadsheets
- Knowledge of video, design and digital marketing best practices.
