The Lester Aldridge Corporate team is established and well-respected. We provide advice on complex mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, refinancing, debt and equity fundraisings, management buyouts and business sales through to strategically critical commercial work such as distribution, agency and supply agreements, data protection breach response and compliance, technology development agreements, website platform policies and trading terms.
As you might expect with an independent law firm, our clients are varied in size and reach but are principally private companies with complex needs. We also act for entrepreneurs, usually in high growth businesses, a challenger bank and some large corporates, in particular advising them on lower mid-market M&A, refinancing and international distribution agreement structures working with our overseas network of lawyers where required.
We have a developed Corporate practice supporting our clients in the Central South region operating through the Bournemouth and Southampton offices. We are looking to collaborate with new clients as opportunities arise. We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Associate or a Salaried Partner to be based in our Bournemouth office. We seek a team player who is looking for intellectually challenging work among like-minded individuals. If this resonates with you, you must also possess strong communication skills to develop robust working relationships and assist the team in delivering results on what is often a demanding environment.
We are seeking a lawyer who has experience in managing corporate transactions and who is able to lead from inception to completion in drafting and negotiating share & assets purchase agreements. The ideal person will possess a blend of commercial and corporate experience, capable of attracting clients, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing client relationships and junior team members, and accustomed to handling deals ranging from £20-40 million in worth.
You are likely to have experience in a well-regarded independent law firm, regional, national or City law firm and be happy to engage in business development to help to grow and develop our practice in the Central South.
