About The Role

DAS Law (part of ARAG UK) have an excellent new opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our friendly and high-performing Private Client team, which sits within our wider Employment Team.

As a Senior Associate in the Private Client team, you can expect to handle a variety of work from initial referral to conclusion of the private client work. This involves non contentious work, such as advice on settlement agreement terms, drafting and negotiation of settlement agreements, contracts of employment and handbooks and policies. It is a great opportunity to support with drafting and reviewing letters for employers and employees, advising on employment processes, assisting with ACAS EC and handling private litigation cases. There is an established pipeline of work available, and a great opportunity to raise your individual and business profile.

In addition to the above work, the successful candidate can expect to:

• Develop open, honest and supportive relationships with the private client team members and other colleagues across the business; and
• Collaborate and knowledge share with the wider employment department and business.

About You

We would love to hear from candidates with a sound experience in employment litigation, who can demonstrate the following:

• Fully qualified Solicitor / CILEX
• Prior experience of contentious and non contentious employment law work is essential;
• Prior experience of supervision of junior lawyers is essential;
• Experience of or a desire to assist in business development;
• The ability to work collaboratively;
• An excellent working knowledge of employment law and procedure;
• A commitment to ensuring good customer outcomes;
• Excellent client care skills; and
