Senior Associate
Working closely with the Head of Global Consultant Relations (GCR) to expand, enhance and monetise IFM's relationships with global consultant firms:
- Support the Head of GCR in managing relationships with the London offices of global consulting firms and OCIOs. Participation in research, OCIO and field consultant meetings.
- Create and deliver a field consultants strategy for the global consulting firms, in co-operation with other members of the Global Client Solutions Group. Drive and participate in field consultants' roadshows.
- Assist in the preparation of research meetings with global consultants (put together internal briefing notes, obtain data and help with presentations / reviews of questionnaires and database entries). Attend the meetings alongside the Head of GCR, document them and action follow-ups promptly.
- Proactively expand and build relationships with the pool of contacts we cover at each global firm.
- Provide first class service to queries from consultants.
- Support the Head of GCR in a range of internal tasks, including but not limited to the update of the global business plan, internal management information and reporting, ongoing maintenance of consultant data in SalesForce
- Collect, update and analyse relevant data on the global consultant market; propose initiatives to increase business in common.
- Work in close collaboration with other members of the GCR team worldwide.

Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience covering consultants (role could also appeal to individuals who have historically been focussed on UK local consultants and wish to expand their knowledge into the global firms).
- Pre-existing relevant experience in the consultant channel is a key requirement as we expect the individual to operate autonomously and hit the ground running.
Qualifications
- Equivalent experience or tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field;
- Strong academic credentials including an undergraduate degree; advanced degree and/or CFA a plus
Business Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the consultant channel and general industry trends
- Proven ability to quickly build and develop external relationships
- Exceptional relationship management skills: attention to detail, proven ability to work and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent project management skills
- Demonstrate a 'consultants always come first' mentality: speed and quality of responses to consultant queries are essential
- Team player with an ability to build relationship and work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders
