Senior Associate - Employment

We're seeking a motivated solicitor to join our expanding employment law team, focusing on serving private sector clients, from large multinationals to SMEs. This role involves handling a variety of employment issues, often with an international aspect, and offers the opportunity to manage cases independently or with guidance from a supervising partner, including overseeing junior lawyers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Preparing for and advocating in employment tribunal cases.
- Drafting contracts, policies, and advising on employment rights and corporate support matters like TUPE.
- Participating in marketing and departmental projects, including seminars and publications.
Technical Skills Needed:
- Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and case management systems.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research.
- Keeping abreast of legal developments.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
- Detail-oriented with a curious mind and open to new challenges.
- Strong commercial awareness and time management skills.
- Effective communicator, capable of building professional relationships.

We're flexible on location and will consider candidates based from one of our regional offices in either Nottingham, Birmingham, or Manchester.
