We are recruiting for a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Occupier Real Estate team at DWF, an award-winning global legal business.

Our Corporate Occupier Real Estate Team deal with all aspects of real estate legal issues, including high-value acquisitions and disposals, and portfolio management for national household names.

As a Senior Associate in this team, you will provide advice to retail, leisure, industrial and office occupier clients regarding the expansion, disposal, and management of their property portfolios.

You will be joining a supportive and highly regarded team who are dedicated to delivering excellent client service.

We offer flexibility on location, allowing for the position to be based out of any one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds or Liverpool and offer a hybrid working arrangement with attendance to the office 3 days per week (minimum).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied case load and provide expert advice on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters and asset management.
  • Support the Real Estate team in driving continuous growth and improvement across the team.
  • Working closely with clients to provide practical, clear, and robust legal advice, ensuring their commercial objectives are met.
  • Maintaining and managing strong relationships with key clients.
  • Providing support to and mentoring more junior members in the team.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • Qualified solicitor with considerable experience working in a leading real estate team.
  • Experience managing your own caseload including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold interests and commercial landlord and tenant matters for corporate occupiers.
  • Strong technical ability with excellent drafting and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage files independently and contribute to wider team matters when required.
  • Confident and personable with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative approach to building and developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven, with a commitment to providing high-quality legal advice.
