About the role

The Senior Associate will report to the Associate Director of the Board Support Services Team, and will be an integral part of the team's success.The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of fund clients, domiciled in the Cayman Islands, will manage multiple client relationships, internal stakeholder relationships and, in a review capacity, may monitor and direct the activities of those within the team.

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Organizing meetings, liaising with all attendees, gathering and distribution of materials for presentation to the board of directors, preparation of notices or agendas, attendance at board meetings.
  • Circulating draft minutes and following up with service providers in respect of action items to be completed.
  • Abiding by Board pack team's written procedures.
  • Circulating Board materials to stakeholders no later than 4 BDs in advance of a meeting.
  • Independently respond to email queries from directors/ clients.
  • Assisting Associate Director in training Junior Associates.
  • Reviewing Board materials before these are circulated.
  • Managing/ participating in projects impacting the board pack team.
  • Providing administrative support to directors' team to ensure appropriate and real-time information is included in all board materials.
  • Keeping abreast of all industry developments and regulatory changes.
  • Maintaining the data integrity of all relevant databases, software and online portal facilities.
  • Fostering a positive environment through open communication and a willingness to get assigned tasks completed.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
  • A knowledge of fund structures, fund documentation and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding time management, organizational skills, oral/written communication skills, critical thinking and attention to detail is required.
  • Be highly adaptable and have impeccable oral and written communication skills across all disciplines.
