Senior Associate - AI Contracting & Governance

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Technology Transations team in London.

The role is intended to have a specific focus on AI contracting and governance, but as AI contracting and governance is a developing area of practice the role will also include elements of more general technology transactions work, such as cloud and SaaS agreements , sys tem implementation and outsourcing projects.

We are focusing on candidates who have at least 6 years of post qualification experience with significant Technology Transactions and AI experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • have a good understanding of the legal issues associated with AI and existing experience of advising on AI contractual and governance issues;
  • quickly understand and communicate complex legal issues to clients and colleagues effectively;
  • lead significant AI and other technology transactions projects with "light touch" partnerial oversight; and
  • take part and have a leadership role in a range of AI and more general technology transactions business development activities by developing client relationships and growing your network and reputation externally and within Bird & Bird.
