Job Description
We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Senior Asset Manager to join our growing Residential Asset Management team, supporting our market-leading Build to Rent (BTR) and Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) portfolios. With over £3.5bn already invested in BTR and a rapidly expanding PBSA strategy, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of high-quality, purpose-built homes across the UK. You'll play a key role in maximising asset performance, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional living experiences for our residents.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and delivering asset business plans aligned to fund strategies
- Managing asset performance, optimising income and ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Taking responsibility for asset-level P&L, including Gross and Net Operating Income
- Identifying and implementing value-add initiatives across individual assets and the wider portfolio
- Leading sustainability activity across allocated assets and updating ESG data platforms
- Monitoring, forecasting and interpreting performance data to support reporting and valuations
- Collaborating with internal teams, property management partners and specialist consultants
- Sharing ideas, championing innovation and contributing to a sector-leading portfolio
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Experience managing residential or living sector assets
- Strong understanding of housing sector regulations, best practice and performance metrics
- Proven ability to develop and execute asset strategies
- Confidence in financial modelling, scenario analysis and data-led decision-making
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- A curious, self-motivated and team-oriented approach
- MRICS or equivalent qualification preferred, alongside degree-level education
