Senior Artworker
This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
We're looking for a Senior Artworker to join the Sunhouse team!
About Us
We are Sunhouse, a positively different brand design agency, based in Bath. We believe in people before egos, creativity before wealth, and partners before clients.
Our client roster includes some of the biggest global names in FMCG alongside some of the most exciting, up-and-coming challenger brands around.
We are a highly-creative, hands-on team. We love positive, collaborative people who thrive on getting stuck in.
About the Position
Our studio is based in Bath, Somerset where you will become part of our fast-paced Artwork Team. Reporting to the Production Director, you will be involved in mentoring, retouching, asset creation, refining typography, colour adjusting, and eliminating inconsistencies. You'll have a great eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems or challenges whilst offering suitable solutions. You will provide the design and accounts teams with technical support and advice.
You could be involved in projects at any stage, providing technical support and advice, whilst working closely with the Production Director and creative team to ensure the artwork meets the needs of the client's brief and any brand guidelines.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Industry Experience: within a design agency or in-house design studio. In-depth knowledge of print production processes, artwork specifications, and media licensing.
- Technical knowledge: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), file setup, and pre-press checks.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
- Design: Proficiency in creating visual concepts, image retouching, and applying strong layout and typographical principles.
- Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects, digital assets, and brand guideline adherence.
- Learning: The ability to both mentor other artworkers and effectively follow creative direction from senior team members.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to advise and support creative teams, account managers, and clients.
Our new Senior Artworker will receive all the industry-standard perks they'd expect, as well as actual work-life balance in a world-class studio that's in the heart of a vibrant city, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Are you ready for something Positively Different?
