As Senior Architectural Designer responsible to develop and connect our new store concept design, new store formats and experiences in line with the overall COS Brand ID. The role ensures the execution of store concepts and projects to meet customer and brand expectations.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for developing and connecting our new store concept design, new store formats and experiences in line with the overall COS Brand ID
  • Ensure execution of existing store concepts in projects
  • Design and develop creative concepts, the COS interior concept, bespoke brand interiors and brand projects
  • Create, compile and visualize design development according to needs and briefs in mood boards, sketches, 3D renderings, models and presentations
  • Keep a full overview of the execution of store concepts or projects from the start to end
  • Perceive, use and develop the character and potential of a store in a commercial and efficient manner in line with brand ID
  • Design the basic infrastructure and the interior of the store in plan and section (model, computer visualisation)
  • Develop/draw related construction details and design the interior of new stores
  • Manage and coordinate efficient processes within multiple COS projects and various business units
  • Research and keep up to date in architectural design, trends, competitors, materials and techniques
  • Collaborate as a team on executions of all COS projects with the central multi brand team and all relevant stakeholders
  • Support other competences and functions to develop and realize design solutions, principles and concept to reach results in line with COS Brand ID and quality expectations
  • Follow up on creative deliveries, coach and give feedback when necessary in a constructive and inspiring way

Experience:

  • Proven experience in creating both an inspiring and functional retail space to drive customer traffic, conversion and average purchase, at the same time laying a strong foundation for efficient operations and facility management.
  • Knowledge of REVIT, Autocad, Adobe Suite and 3D design Rhino/SketchUp.
  • Experience from various types of retail development projects, i.e. full program development, specific departments and features as well as upkeeping projects etc.
  • Knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the retail business
  • Working with a brand identity and a focus on customer experience within stores.
  • Proven experience in mentoring creative teams in a successful way, coaching in an inspiring, empathic and genuine manner
