Senior Architect
(Ideally with commercial office sector experience)
Location: London
Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday
Salary: £45k-50k p.a.
We are working with a London based Architecture practice who as part of their continued growth, are actively seeking to bolster their technical delivery capacity and are in search of a skilled Senior Architect to join their team. The right individual will have the opportunity to lead and work on a variety of projects.
About you:
You should demonstrate ambition and enthusiasm for success, along with a readiness to serve as an ambassador for the business. The role entails overseeing project delivery from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, requiring a strong technical aptitude and the ability to adapt to challenging situations at a fast pace.
The Role:
You'll be involved in a variety of projects across the commercial sector, supporting the Technical Director in project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for both the business and clients
- Receiving project briefs from Associates or Directors and independently developing technical solutions in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work and the wider design team
- Providing support and oversight for the delivery of projects
- Managing and collaborating with clients and contractors
- Participating in and contributing to project and client meetings
- Engaging in project reviews and coordination workshops
- Producing compliant designs by adhering to UK Construction Law and British Standards
- Contributing to and assisting in the development of design and technical expertise
Requirements:
- ARB registered Architect with no less than 5 years post Part III qualification experience
- A strong technical mind
- Extensive commercial sector experience, in particular in the delivery of high-end office fit-outs
- Experienced in project management
- Capable of independently leading projects while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering projects to completion
- Proficient in Revit and usage of common data environments
