Description

The Senior Applicant Communications Officer is vital to achieving our Strategy 2030 student growth targets. Supporting the Applicant Communications and Conversion Manager, the role focuses on planning and implementing effective CRM-based communication strategies to attract and convert applicants across all programs.

By developing measurable digital campaigns and delivering dynamic email content, the Officer will enhance Bath Spa University's visibility and drive applicant conversion throughout the student lifecycle.

About the Role

Develop and implement creative email campaigns to reach target audiences, collaborating closely with CRM, Marketing, and Admissions teams to optimize conversion through digital platforms.

Oversee the content calendar, manage content creation, and ensure campaigns align with other online channels. Project manage campaigns, working with internal teams and external suppliers to maximize impact within budget, and produce evaluation reports to improve future efforts.

Additionally, build strong stakeholder relationships, share best practices, and line manage a CRM Coordinator while supporting one-off projects across the University.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, with proven expertise in developing and implementing digital marketing and email campaigns, using CRM systems for stakeholder engagement, and evaluating results through data analytics.

They should possess strong content creation skills for digital channels, excellent project management abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in line management and financial acumen is essential, along with extensive knowledge of social media trends.

The candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment. Experience in higher education and an understanding of UK Higher Education issues are desirable. The role may require occasional evening and weekend work.

Additional Information

Grade 6 - GBP 32,332 - GBP 36,024 per annum

Hybrid working - Minimum of 2 days working on campus
