Senior Analyst (Associate) | Real Assets Investments

Join our dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in our Real Assets Portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including Kings Cross and Canada Water, and take on investment transaction responsibilities for new UK and European investments

Your new role:
This new seat will support the development and implementation of our Mid Risk and Real Assets Portfolio Strategies. As a Senior Analyst, you will provide analytical support for strategy development, research, and the execution of new investment opportunities, as well as manage existing investments within the UK and European markets.
Working collaboratively to support excellent financial modelling outcomes for the portfolio, you will be recommending, implementing, and overseeing high quality reporting and research in accordance with regular requirements, including:
- Transaction Execution: Lead financial modelling workstreams, provide detailed investment valuation analysis, and support the preparation and presentation of investment papers.
- Investment Management: Monitor and assess asset and portfolio performance, develop and maintain financial models, and produce high-quality asset-related reporting.
- Portfolio Research & Reporting: Conduct research on existing and new markets, produce portfolio reports, and provide insights to guide strategy and investment recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues across the Fund, and support process improvements.
This position is a regulated/certified FCA seat within the Fund, based on-site at London King's Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund's global portfolio.
What you'll need
Culture is key at AustralianSuper, and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team. We will need you to have:
• Proven experience within real asset investment finance and transactions
• Exposure working at a fund manager, real estate firm or investment bank.
• Superior quantitative financial modelling skills, specifically unlisted property transactions
• Strong knowledge of valuation principles and practices
• Excellent analysis and research skills
• Significant experience with undertaking analysis of information and drawing conclusions.
• Advanced use of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Relevant education in property investment, finance or a related discipline
• A genuine passion for real assets and property investment markets
• Excellent communication skills, with outstanding attention to detail
