What we're looking for
In this role, you will report to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for analysing the acquisition of goods and services essential to the Argus Media Group operations. The role will work closely with the Financial Control and FP&A teams to understand plan requirements, monitor expenditures, and implement cost savings. The Procurement Analyst will also be managing our relationships with third-party data providers.
You will also work alongside the business operations to ensure smooth coordination of procurement timelines and ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders in line with our policies and guidelines.
What we're looking for in you:
This is a well-rounded position requiring close collaboration with the business operations and Finance team. Culturally, this will suit a confident, outgoing and detailed orientated individual seeking a hands-on role within a collegiate and vibrant team environment.
- Good analytical and communication skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving;
- Demonstrable experience in project management, managing multiple stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse/interpret data to make informed decisions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment for an organisation that has a matrix reporting structure;
- Experience working in a procurement related position with negotiation experience desirable;
- Experience in implementing cost saving measures desirable;
- Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and best practices within procurement desirable;
- Understanding of analytics and visualisation tools desirable, ideally experience with PowerBI;
- Experience with ERP systems desirable, ideally experience with NetSuite.
- Background knowledge of a data and information-related business desirable;
