STADA UK Thornton & Ross - Senior Analyst (Lab Services)

As a Senior Analyst - Lab Services, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our laboratory functions. You'll be hands-on with analytical instruments, lead by example in quality and compliance, and contribute to method development and team performance.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Ensure laboratory instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and qualified for use.
• Conduct GC and GCMS analyses on a wide range of samples.
• Assist in the development and validation of HPLC and GC methods for raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines, including GMP, ISO standards, and the Orange Guide.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize lab performance and reliability.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and team objectives.
• Provide regular updates and collaborate closely with colleagues to drive results.
• Flexibly support additional lab tasks as required.

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or a related scientific field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a regulated lab environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• Expertise in operating and troubleshooting GC, GCMS, and HPLC instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Orange Guide).
• Experience in method development and analytical validation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
