You will be part of a newly formed Investments, M&A & Valuation team where you play a key role in driving financial analysis and valuation support the CIO and senior management of JERA Nex in relation to investment strategy and capital allocation. Furthermore, you will also be taking lead roles in executing asset and corporate M&A and partnership transactions globally to help drive JERA Nex' ambitious growth strategy across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Who You Are

• High-level of intellectual curiosity, positive attitude and willingness to take responsibility and contribute to a very lean and highly dynamic and ambitious organisation where your individual performance will make a significant difference.
• 2-3 years of experience with complex corporate and asset-level financial modelling and valuation within renewable energy or broader energy infrastructure sectors.
• Solid understanding of relevant corporate and project finance, accounting and tax matters.
• Experience in preparing investment analysis, presentations and decision papers and presenting those to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in dealing with senior professionals, consultants and investment banks.

What You Will Do

• Support the CIO and other senior management of JERA Nex in shaping up the company's investment strategy globally.
• Lead financial modelling work, develop and maintain quantitative and qualitative analyses or prospective organic investments, acquisition opportunities or divestments of renewable energy assets / projects or companies.
• Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions, especially those inputs that are key to valuation results including identifying key value drivers).
• Effectively communicate results and provide support to ensure informed senior management decisions and that financial impacts are understood by all internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead dedicated due diligence, valuation and workstreams in assessment of various M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Execute the investment approval process including liaising with senior management and the BoD of JERA Nex.
