ALS Laboratories are looking for a Senior Analyst to support their Dee Organics department at Hawarden. The successful candidate will deputize for the Team Leader, train and supervise team members. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures, with experience training a team.
Due to the rotating shift pattern, the role will require availability on weekends, bank holidays and Christmas Day to ensure we deliver service all year round. Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!

Role
Days Per Week:3 on 6 off.
Contract: Part Time and Permanent, flexibility for a Full Time contract based around 3 on 6 off shift.
Hours:19-37
Salary:£25,943- £28,819 (Based on 37 hours, Pro Rata to contracted hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all samples completed in compliance with quality management system while adhering to deadlines
• Maintain daily service delivery to Company KPI's
• Interpretation and reporting of analytical data directly to customers
• Support the Team Leader in planning and managing resourcees to meet service targets
• Providing relevant information to customer services
• Deal with customer complaints & queries
• Work with other team members to ensure efficient flow of samples
• Investigate and report on non-conforming work

About You

• Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant subject or Significant laboratory experience and in-depth knowledge of environmental testing
• Reliable, and flexible working days
• Problem solving skills
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own work and others in the team
• Attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records
• Good communication
• Good IT skills
• Comprehensive understanding of Quality Management System
• Evaluate critically and draw conclusions from scientific and other data
