Description

CREO is a NYC-headquartered 501(c)3 with a mission to mobilize and catalyse high-impact capital that drives the necessary transition to a low-carbon, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.
With less than 5 years to activate financial and capital markets to support the necessary decarbonization transition and meet the objectives of the Paris Agreement, we believe our membership of family offices, family foundations, family-controlled businesses, and other asset owners has a critical role to play.
To achieve our mission, CREO works with an ecosystem of global stakeholders, including Members (wealth owners, family offices, and family enterprises), Affiliate Members (select institutional and corporate investors), and Partners (aligned investors such as pension funds, university endowments, or private equity; government; not-for-profit organizations; and academia).
We facilitate investment by helping our Members and Partners build knowledge and confidence via shared insights, research, and programming that focuses on how to invest in climate solutions and the decarbonization transition. CREO is the only not-for-profit organization focusing on climate and sustainability market-rate investment across all asset classes in private markets.
CREO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to support its expanding initiatives in emerging markets. This role will contribute to advancing climate and sustainability investments across select geographies, sectors, and asset classes.
This position will be at the heart of strengthening CREO's network of stakeholders and strategic partners relevant to its emerging markets working group and its externally facing partnerships to develop solutions to de-risk and increase private capital deployment into energy transition, climate and sustainability opportunities in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

The analyst will also support researching and writing thought pieces focused on climate and sustainability investments in emerging markets.
The Senior Analyst will need to keep up to date with deal flow trends, identify new business models and financing vehicles and understand the impact of policy and philanthropy in select geographies. To play a thought leadership role, this person will be skilled at synthesizing business intelligence for internal and external use, and recommending actions based on their research and analysis. Duties will also include tracking and reporting on member and ecosystem partner led investments in emerging markets.

Lastly, this position will ensure that emerging market opportunities and data are accurately identified, tagged and actioned in databases and CREO's Data and Research Platform in order to support relevant KPIs.
This position will work closely with CREO's Investment, Operations and Strategic Initiatives teams and will report to CREO's Regional President, EMEA and India.
