Acquisition Director

The Acquisition Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall marketing strategy for the Group's global brands and markets. This includes oversight of affiliate, digital and social marketing channels under a central marketing team structure. The Acquisition Director will work closely with the senior leadership team to understand the company's business objectives, forecast performance results and develop targeted marketing strategies that support these objectives with their teams.
This role will require best-in-class reporting and executive communications. Team leadership skills are a must, with the ability to execute the company's vision across all marketing teams.
We would love you to join our HQ office in London but we are also considering candidates within EU in a remote set-up.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a global acquisition marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and vision.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, including the Paid Acquisition, Content, SEO and Affiliate Management specialists.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Collaborate with country managers to tailor global marketing strategies to align with local market dynamics, cultural preferences, and customer behaviors.
- Ensure that marketing campaigns resonate with regional audiences while adhering to the company's brand guidelines.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to country managers, enabling them to execute strategies effectively.
- Develop strategies to build brand presence and customer base in emerging markets.
Affiliate Marketing:
- Oversee the affiliate program's performance, ensuring growth, partner engagement, and ROI optimization.
- Implement strategies to increase quality of all key acquisition partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the affiliate marketing framework.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Lead SEO initiatives to improve organic search performance, traffic, and conversions.
Work closely with content, web development, and analytics teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes, adjusting strategies as needed.
Paid Acquisition:
- Oversee multi-channel paid acquisition strategy.
- Analyse performance of paid channels such as paid social, display, programmatic.
- Fuel revenue growth in a cost-efficient manner to build a sustainable and scalable acquisition engine.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Set clear KPIs for all marketing initiatives, monitoring performance across all channels.
- Drive and ensure that all direct reports set KPIs for their individual members of their team and actively participate in performance measurement.
- Present regular reports on marketing performance, insights, and recommendations.
- Optimize budgets to ensure maximum ROI for all marketing investments.
- Ensure the right data is being collated to give clarity on success of all initiatives and budget spent.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in senior marketing leadership roles focusing on multi-regional marketing management, preferably in the iGaming or digital entertainment industry
- Experience in digital growth marketing with a comprehensive understanding of Digital Advertising (Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates, SEO/ASO)
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with experience managing diverse, global teams
- Proficient in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
