ALS in Hawarden are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Analyst to join our team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses of Deesit samples. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality data to our clients and ensuring environmental safety.
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual who thrives in a structured and consistent work environment. This role offers the flexibility of a 5-hour workday with the hours of 1pm to 11pm, allowing you to create a schedule that best suits your day.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform analytical testing on river samples using various manual and automated techniques to generate Dee Situation Reports.
- Respond to and analyse samples related to Dee pollution incidents.
- Participate in an on-call rota for 24/7 service delivery throughout the year.
- Utilize your skills to identify and facilitate new business opportunities.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
About You
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Trustworthy and able to interface effectively with auditors and clients.
- Responsible for your own actions, adhering to procedures and guidelines.
- Experience in organic analysis and in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting analytical equipment.
