Senior Air Quality Consultant

Opportunity for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our growing, multidisciplinary team in Manchester. In this role you will be working directly with our national discipline leader and in the thick of the growth and development of our Air Quality service and the Manchester/ Northwest region.
In the short and medium term your primary focus will be delivering projects, within a 360-degree role that will see you contribute to business development and operations. It is an opportunity for career progression, now and particularly as we continue to realise our growth plans over the coming months and years.
Our Manchester team and this role are based in Beehive Lofts on Jersey Street ('the most luxurious coworking space in Manchester'- check it out here).
The role and requirements
- Project manage air quality projects from inception through to implementation, with support as required.
- Undertake detailed air dispersion modelling surveys using ADMS-Roads and all relevant modelling tools and guidance.
- Carry out air quality and odour monitoring surveys.
- Prepare technical outputs including standalone air quality reports and Environmental Statement chapters, technical notes, EIA screening and scoping input and consultation material.
- Represent the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Manchester office.
- Assist with the day-to-day mentoring or management of junior staff members and provide support with technical queries from colleagues.
- Actively carry out business development for the company.
- UK driving license and own vehicle, or access to a vehicle at short notice for survey attendance.
- Membership of IAQM and IES of at least Associate Level.
