Work Location: Room 700 County Hall, Glenfield, LE3 8RA

Worker Category: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Grade 6 ranging from £23,898 to £24,300 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Working Hours: Part Time 18.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Finance & Procurement Hub in the Business Support Services Team within Adults & Communities as a Senior Administrative Assistant based at County Hall. To support the Hub Manager in delivering the work of a specialist Hub, providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive business support service across all of Adults & Communities. Have specialist technical knowledge in the work of the Hub they are assigned to and to hold in-depth knowledge of the work of the department and services that their allocated Hub supports.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Knowledge of financial processes and associated IT systems
  • Knowledge of the importance of information confidentiality (GDPR)
  • Understands why accurate information/data capture and management is important. and the consequences of it not being.
  • Excellent Customer Care with the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
  • To be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Actively manages issues to prevent escalation.
  • To have a flexible approach and work under pressure against tight timescales and remain calm and focused.
