Royal London's Finance Close team have an exciting opportunity in for a Senior Accounts Payable Consultant to join them and play a pivotal role in deputising for the Team Manager, supporting the team to complete daily tasks.

About the role

• Support the team with the completion of the daily workflow of processing payments, receipts, and personal expenses via the Procure to Pay system.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to develop and share understanding of KPI/MI driving initiatives to align to business goals.
• Contribute and lead the ongoing development of the Query Management to facilitate look through and improve processing time.
• Champion and support the wider teams' initiatives and reconciliations working collaboratively to facilitate new ways of working and development opportunities.
• Be a subject matter expert and technical support role model for the team.

About you

• Prior background and experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion would be desirable but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Be highly organised with good planning skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
