Senior Accounts/Finance Assistant

FTC - 4mths with potential to extend become permanent

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid working) approx 2 days office, 3 days home.

Salary range: £25-30k plus benefits

Avidity Group have an opportunity for a new Senior Accounts/Finance Assistant to join their busy team on a fixed term contract which could lead to a longer term position. You may be a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and looking for your first role within a Finance environment or maybe you already have experience within a similar role and now looking for a new challenge within a team that could offer longer term progression. Either way, you will consider yourself an Excel whizz and will be comfortable working within a hybrid environment (Glasgow City Centre HO).

As Senior Accounts / Finance Assistant you will be responsible for preparing key month end journals, sales & purchase transactions, expenses & more.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally you will have some experience within a similar role and will be comfortable with debits and credits.

• A confident Excel user
• Great attention to detail and high accuracy
• Work well in a team environment (virtually & face to face) and enjoy collaborating with a wider team
• Great communication skills - you will work closely with wider business and client teams
• Financial Ledger experience eg Sage, Xero
