What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a strong Senior Accountant to join our in-house Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring our financial records across the USA and UK are produced in an accurate and timely manner, in addition to leading on gold standard processes and procedures for the rest of the group to follow.

What You Will Work On

• Month-End-Process:
• End-to-end management of USA and UK month-end processes (journal entries relating to revenue, payroll, accruals, prepayments, etc.), setting an example for all other international entities.
• Consolidation of Group results.
• Preparation and maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts.
• Review of outputs from Financial Operations (FinOps team) in the form of invoice approval and assessment of accrual + prepayment requirements.
• Year-End & Audit Processes: Management of audit process for USA and UK entities, in addition to preparation of consolidated statutory accounts under US GAAP.

• Improve System Design and Integration: Assist in the transformation of system design and integrations, ensuring seamless flow of financial data across all our systems. Improve these processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Payments & Banking Management: Working with Corporate FP&A to maintain healthy short-term working capital; manage USA / UK banking portals and owning responsibility for the release of payments across relevant entities.
• Other Ad Hoc:
• Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns and statutory filings in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with investor reporting.

What You Bring

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent (ideally with 1-2 year PQE).
• Strong MS Office and GSuite experience (Excel/Sheets/Word/Docs/PowerPoint/Slides).
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable way.
• Accounting systems experience (Netsuite preferred).
• Dependable and reliable self-starter, driven to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
• Extremely organized with fantastic attention to detail.
• Desire to dive in and learn in a high intensity and fast-paced environment.
