About the Role

Are you a seasoned Senior Account Manager looking for your next challenge? This role would work on one of our largest and most valuable accounts in the immunology space. Work would include global and EU med affairs and commercial work. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of this account leading it from both an internal and client perspective. You will work closely with the Business Director, Scientific Director, and wider account team to develop and execute strategic plans that meet our clients' needs.
What You'll Do

An experienced Senior Account Manager must have a proven track record as an Account Manager. Additional responsibilities would include:

  • assisting in the overall financial management of the account;
  • lead and deliver multiple medium and large sized projects; symposia, booths, congress, sci comms, social & patient engagement work
  • maintain an understanding/overview of all projects across the account;
  • review materials to ensure alignment with client brief/objectives and account/product strategy and be able to confidently discuss these knowledgeably with clients;
  • regularly review the overall account programme and client objectives with the Account Director and proactively advise client on new issues/external environment that may have an impact; provide expertise, leadership and experience to the internal team;
  • actively manage and develop team members; line management; grow business (organic and new business proposals)

What You'll Need

We are looking for candidates who understand and implement a proactive, client-focused approach at all times and who set the standard as a positive role model for more junior members of the team to follow. You will need to be able to apply consistently high standards, tailor your style according to the audience, present confidently and be able to develop and build relationships with clients and offer strategic counsel.

  • Previous experience as a Senior Account Manager within a medcomms or meded agency
  • A track record of success in project management and delivery across a variety of medical education projects, as well as financial management
  • Excellent time management skills; dependable, conscientious, keen and reliable; able to juggle and prioritise, meet challenging deadlines and find solutions
  • Good understanding of pharma regulations
  • Desire to grow and develop our business as well as personally within the role; challenge the status quo and be part of developing new creative approaches and solutions to both our client's problems and our internal priorities
