Programme Delivery Manager

Overview:

Our Programme Delivery Manager oversees our project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves managing both client-facing and internal projects, with a focus on technical delivery in the claim management space.

This role is also responsible for leading our team of Project Managers, acting as the primary contact for key clients to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery, from planning to closure, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
  • Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and addressing client needs.
  • Manage a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure smooth project
  • Develop and implement project management policies and processes for consistency and excellence.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and review activities to enhance service delivery and continuously improve processes.
  • Provide project governance, reporting on progress and outcomes to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project objectives with company goals.
  • Manage project resources, including budgets and timelines, to ensure efficiency.
  • Monitor risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables meets both company and client expectations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in project management.

Key Requirements:

  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior project management role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • London Insurance Market Experience essential
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide crossfunctional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in the insurance or claim management industry.
  • High-performance mindset, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multiple competing priorities.
