Job Title: Senior 2D Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 2D Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in design, a keen eye for visual aesthetics, and the ability to lead design projects from concept to execution.

Role

As a Senior 2D creative, you will play a key role in shaping visual identities and creating compelling creative assets. A conceptual thinker, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as 3D Designers, Artworkers and Production teams. Someone who can generate creative and innovative ideas, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects and is not afraid to try something new to better communicate a client's brand and narrative. As an events business we naturally want someone who really understands how 2D creative works in the 3D space and how people digest content.

You will need to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines whilst maintaining a high standard of design quality, both with your own work and when reviewing and providing constructive feedback on the work of junior designers. You will see constructive interrogation of a brief as part of the creative process either to better understand the ask or find a better way of achieving it... or both.

Like all good designers, we need you to be an individual who is informed about industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies. Integrate new design techniques and technologies into projects to keep our creative output fresh and cutting-edge.

What you need to have

  • Proven design credentials based on conceptual thinking, with extensive experience of creating outstanding design work preferably in the events industry.
  • Has the ability to see all projects through from concept, design to delivery.
  • Is advanced in Adobe Creative Suite of software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc)
  • Is passionate about 2D design and visual creativity
  • Has a hunger to continue to learn and grow within a creative environment
  • Enjoys being a part of a team and collaborating, both taking and giving design direction
  • Can be agile and adapt well to change as ideas evolve
  • Can manage junior team members
  • Has good personal time management skills and can work towards deadlines
