Selection Program Manager, EU Seller Services, Softlines

The EU Softlines Marketplace team is seeking a Selection Program Manager to shape the future of our Softlines 3rd Party (3P) Marketplace Business. Amazon aims to offer the largest selection to our customers. Expanding selection is therefore a key element of providing the best experience to our customers, and accelerating Amazon's flywheel.
As Selection Program Manager, you will drive strategic initiatives to increase the depth, breadth, and relevance of selection for the Softlines marketplace. This will require you to utilise AI-powered tools and techniques, and implement scalable mechanisms to identify, source and onboard selection. The role offers the opportunity to work cross functionally with tech, data science and product teams across Amazon EU Marketplace and Retail businesses. The successful candidate will be a strong project manager with deep analytical abilities, who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

This role can be based in all EU5 (Luxembourg, London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Madrid)

Key job responsibilities
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase the depth and breadth of Softlines selection, and implement scalable solutions to capture them
• Utilize AI technologies and data analysis to evaluate industry trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for selection expansion
• Stay informed about advancements in AI technologies and tools, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our AI-driven product expansion efforts
• Proactively seek to improve the seller experience, helping to remove friction in the listing and selling process, and providing the tools to help sellers grow their business on Amazon.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Marketing, Seller Services, and EU Selection teams
• Monitor and evaluate selection funnel performance, finding ways to continuously optimize the Amazon flywheel
• Define and track the metrics and goals needed to measure success across critical work streams in the program
• Actively seek ways to improve program related process efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• several years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and generate actionable insights
• Demonstration of interest in AI and LLMs, with a passion to learn and be curious

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write succinct and compelling written business proposals and recommendations for senior audiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to deal with ambiguous problems
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
