Job Title: Security Administrator
Location: RAF Coningsby or Lossiemouth – onsite
Salary: £28,537
What you’ll be doing:
- Facilitation of visitors to the facility in accordance with security policies
- Monitoring entry and exit to classified information facility; answering queries; internal CCTV monitoring
- Enforce Special Access Programme classified security policies
- Hold security clearances/ access approvals commensurate with the level of information been held and processed within the facility
- Assisting the classified information Facility Security Manager with mandatory inspection paperwork and other associated documentation
- Maintain secure facility accountability (maintenance logs, security seal upkeep etc)
- Until a classified information supporting network is in place provide 2-man courier/escort of classified material
- As directed by the classified information Facility Security Manager, record and report any classified material-related security incidents and violations in classified information facility and liaise with the Operations GSSO to ensure timely & appropriate incident management & reporting
- Liaise with the Local Security Lead for the site
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience working within an administrative role
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
Desirable:
- Experience working with classified and sensitive information
- Come from a military, security or defence background

The Classified Facility Security team:
The Security Administration role contributes to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and forms part of a layered approach to security. The primary objective of the SA is to support SAPF Facility Security Manager to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of classified facility information while it is; being processed, transported or stored.
