Salary: £47,683
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain the technical data integrity within the Initial Provisioning (IP) database and implement change to that data where required
- Maintaining the modification process to completion, assess modification process to completion
- Support the IEDB (Integrating Engineering Database)/UFR (Unsatisfactory feature report) query process where required
- Maintain effective links with the Tornado Design Office/Obsolescence point of contact for the management and progression of Technical IP Queries
- Support the Team Leader as IP point of contact, maintaining good working relationships with all partnerships
Essential:
• Broad knowledge of the Tornado drawing system including electrical drawings
• HNC or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
• Project Management / Integration / Configuration Management awareness
• Stakeholder Management
Desirables:
• Knowledge of the NETMA IPL & IPC products, associated specifications (EPS-SSP & Mil Spec) & toolsets including ASTRAL
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Experience

The Tornado Tri National Initial Provisioning team:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and updating Initial Provisioning Lists (IPLs) to help customers identify changes to the aircraft configuration standard. This process facilitates the procurement of spare parts and supports both customer and BAE Systems’ internal supply support databases. Additionally, you will provide new or revised updates to the suite of Tornado Illustrated Parts Catalogues, enabling accurate identification of components for spare parts re-provisioning.
