Ysgol Gyfun Gwent Is Coed is a Welsh-medium secondary school in Newport. It is located next to Tredegar Park, 20 minutes from Cardiff and 5 minutes from the M4. Our learners come from a unique area in terms of history and culture and we are extremely proud that we are part of the growth in Welsh medium education in South East Wales.

We are a friendly and inclusive school according to our Estyn report in 2022 and we are proud of our ethos of high expectations for the whole school community. Our core values include being ambitious for every individual in the school, creating a happy community where everyone feels they belong and respect each other and developing learners to be confident individuals who embrace their Welshness.

We would like to appoint a School Business Manager who is enthusiastic, energetic and intelligent and will contribute fully to realising the school's vision. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic and conscientious team. Ysgol Gyfun Gwent is Coed is committed to developing the continuous professional learning of all school staff and ensuring that all members of the school community receive excellent experiences.
