Portfield School, a leading specialist provision for children aged 4-19, has ambitious growth plans, and we need an exceptional School Business Manager to join our talented team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the non-academic management of the school and play a crucial part in shaping our financial strategy. You will lead the administration team, ensuring efficient operations through effective use of technology. Additionally, you will coordinate the referral process for new students, providing timely communication with stakeholders and considering financial implications.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the school administration team, ensuring efficient and effective administrative operations using technology effectively.

- Coordinate the referral process for new students, meeting timelines, keeping stakeholders informed, and considering financial impacts.

- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations, maintaining up-to-date and effective policies and publishing them externally when required.

- Develop and execute the school's financial strategy, including fee management, negotiating with Local Authorities, and expense management.

- Manage day-to-day and annual processes for school finances, property management, health and safety, and support services.

- Demonstrates excellent IT skills and is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
