Team Manager Position with Lancashire's Fostering Service in the SCAYT+ Service (Supporting Carers and Young People Together) - dual bases at Riverbank Neighbourhood Centre, Preston and Tay Street Family Hub, Burnley - covering the whole of Lancashire.
SCAYT+ is a team of emotional health practitioners, social workers, and clinical psychologists. SCAYT+ work with Lancashire children who are looked after and adopted, or children who are living with special guardians and who are eligible for support from the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF).
Join our team that strengthens the relationships between care givers and the child or young person in the care. We use a range of approaches that are underpinned by systemic practice and therapeutic principles to help support children, young people, and their families. We are seeking a dynamic Team Manager to drive our commitment to high-quality support, ensuring children have safe, stable, loving, and lasting homes.
As a Team Manager, you will:
- Lead the management of a team of Emotional Health Practitioners to achieve performance objectives and contribute to the wider service plan.
- Support the delivery of a range of therapeutic interventionsto enable parents and carers to develop their therapeutic knowledge and skills, and professionals to develop trauma informed practices.
- Actively promote our service to internal and external partners.
- Engage in strategic planning, development, and delivery of our services, providing clear information to senior management and promoting our objectives.
- Address routine and complex issues locally to ensure effective service delivery.
