We're seeking a future team member for the role of Sanctions Operations Training & Process Improvement Manager to join our Sanctions team. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Own, lead and manage the Sanctions Operations training execution plan, including collecting training needs from QA managers, creating training content, and delivering training.
- Contribute to increased performance across Sanctions Operations through an expedited, training led response to emerging performance themes, or changes in regulatory expectations
- Encourage adherence to defined deadlines and quality standards within the outlined training requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to new hires to facilitate their growth and development.
- Support QA teams by conducting QA ad hoc training as needed when continuous errors are identified.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
- 5 - 7 years of financial crime-related alert review experience (with a preference for sanctions alerts) and financial crime related training experience.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and non-verbal to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Project management experience with proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to self-manage workload and goals independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven organization
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency using vendor management and risk management software or tools is a plus
