Technology and amazing customer experience is at the heart of our communications strategy and the purpose of this role is to be the subject matter expert for the technology aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

The role will manage the technical configuration of SFMC and ensure that it meets all requirements of the business from a technical, security, functional and performance perspective. The role will also have hands-on responsibilities for automation building and the development of custom solutions within the platform.

In addition, this role will be charged with upskilling a range of colleagues with the best practices in managing and using SFMC so that there is clearunderstanding of the technology platform across the business.

What we need from you:

• Experience usingSFMC to build and develop campaigns and audiences and specifically, experience withAutomation Studio, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Email Studio and Mobile Studio

• Experience using SQL and at least one of the following languages: AMPScript, SSJS, JavaScript

• Relevant SFMC certification - e.g.,Marketing Cloud Administrator orMarketing Cloud Developer

• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools

• Experience with other Marketing technologies and their integration

• Clear communication skills to make complex technical matters simple when communicating with non-technical stakeholders

• Collaborative working across both technical and non-technical communities

• Working in a regulated environment with data privacy and data security first considerations

• Some people management experience may be helpful but not mandatory
