About the role

As a Salesforce Manager, you'll play a critical role in our cross-functional Agile team, working alongside Product, Design, and Engineering to create innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the business. Reporting to the Head of Engineering of our Customer domain, you will lead the development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions, leveraging your expertise to improve processes, enhance user experience, and drive automation.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Strategy & Oversight - Lead the design and delivery of scalable, automated solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, aligning system capabilities with evolving business needs.
  • Integration Leadership - Oversee complex integration projects involving external systems, APIs, and third-party services, ensuring smooth and secure data flows across platforms.
  • Team Management & Development - Mentor and support Salesforce admins and developers, fostering a culture of best practices in configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Business Stakeholders to translate user needs and strategic goals into impactful CRM solutions.
  • Platform Optimization & Governance - Champion continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities, streamlining processes, and ensuring a high-quality user experience across all Salesforce touchpoints.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Proven Salesforce Expertise - Certified Salesforce Administrator credentials are essential, with Platform Developer (I and II as a plus) valued as a strong foundation. While hands-on technical skills are appreciated, demonstrable experience leading Salesforce initiatives and driving value through the platform is key.
  • Integration Knowledge - Solid understanding of external integrations (e.g. connected apps, Apex callouts, outbound messaging, REST/SOAP APIs), with experience overseeing or guiding technical teams in delivering robust, secure connections between systems.
  • Collaborative Leadership - You thrive on working closely with colleagues from across the organisation, building strong relationships to ensure Salesforce solutions are tightly aligned with business strategy and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Accountability & Impact - You take ownership of outcomes, actively contributing to team goals and ensuring your work delivers measurable impact on business performance and user satisfaction.
  • Commercially Aware & Adaptable - You're commercially minded and resilient under pressure, with the ability to pivot in response to business or technical changes without losing momentum.
  • Innovative Mindset - You're curious about emerging technologies and continuously seek ways to enhance the Salesforce ecosystem, including exploring AI and automation opportunities both within Salesforce's native tooling and beyond.

Desirable skills

  • Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience with AI models within Salesforce or other platforms.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Gearset, Copado, or similar).
  • You might have been a Salesforce Engineer in the past, but it is not a hard requirement.
