Salesforce Engineering Manager at Checkout.com

We are passionate about the Salesforce technology and strive for innovation, value, sustainability & quality. Our Salesforce Center of Excellence team is a group of talented engineers who are dedicated to delivering sophisticated solutions in a 'simple' way. We believe in empowering our engineers to challenge strategic decisions and be vocal about leveraging every feature that Salesforce has to offer.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager of Salesforce Engineering to lead our teams in the UK and Mauritius. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and architecture, as well as a proven track record of managing and mentoring teams. This role will be responsible for the overall design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across Checkout.com.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and manage a team of Salesforce engineers in the UK and Mauritius, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
Define and implement Salesforce engineering strategies and best practices across the region.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Design and develop scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies.
Ensure that Salesforce solutions are aligned with the company's overall technology strategy and architecture.
Manage the development and release of Salesforce solutions, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide technical leadership and expertise on Salesforce best practices and technologies.
Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce solutions to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the business.
Maintain a strong understanding of the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company.
Travel to other company locations as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring technical teams.
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and technologies, including Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce APIs.
Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, SFDX, and unlocked packaging processes.
Experience with enterprise integration frameworks and event-driven integration patterns.
Solid knowledge of design patterns and engineering best practices.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
