The Job Role

  • To manage the hotel events and wedding team ensuring the highest standards of sales and customer service delivered at all times
  • The experienced sales office manager will drive and motivate the team and complete all training
  • Managing the entire sales process from enquiry through to planning before handing over to operations.
  • Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets
  • Conducting show rounds and arranging fam trips for agents.

The Requirements

  • The ideal sales office manager will have previous experience within a hotel meetings and events sales department, preferably in a country house hotel setting
  • To ensure the sales team are maximising sales conversion of all enquiries and new buisness achieved
  • Responsible for leading and motivating a reactive sales team to ensure maximum revenue
  • The sales office manager will build and maintain an excellent team to deliver the best service
  • Create a fun working environment for the sales office and develop team members
