Sales & Marketing Manager (Group)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Marketing Manager to join our team at The Windmill Village Hotel, The Manor Hotel, and the National Conference Centre. This pivotal role will involve leading all marketing activities across our properties, focusing on key areas such as weddings, spa & leisure, F&B outlets, conference spaces, and other facilities.
As the Group Marketing Manager, you will drive and optimise marketing initiatives while overseeing the implementation of both digital and social media strategies. You'll be hands-on in capturing content, designing materials, and executing campaigns across multiple channels. A Marketing Executive will report directly to you, assisting with the delivery of these initiatives.
You will need to bring experience and experti from a similar environment, with the ability and confidence to lead the role as described.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Campaign Management:
- Lead the design and execution of innovative multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and website landing pages.
Website Management:
- Oversee and update the website in collaboration with the sales team and developers, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
Social Media Leadership:
- Manage and grow all social media channels from strategy to execution, ensuring consistency in content creation, visual storytelling, and audience engagement that align with brand guidelines.
Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:
- Partner closely with the Group Director of Sales to create integrated campaigns that drive business growth and support marketing objectives.
Asset Creation and Content Development:
- Coordinate on-site photography, video shoots, press events, and internal marketing materials to produce high-quality content that enhances brand visibility.
PR and Influencer Management:
- Work with external PR consultants to manage proactive media activities, influencer visits, and media relations to boost brand reputation and exposure.
Innovation and Platform Growth:
- Identify emerging digital platforms and assess opportunities for paid, content, and collaborative campaign strategies.
Content Creation and Engagement:
- Develop, create, and distribute engaging content across platforms, building credibility, trust, and meaningful connections with our audience.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure that all digital channels, including PPC, social media, and PR, maintain consistent messaging and visual identity aligned with business goals.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Measure and report on campaign performance, tracking key metrics such as brand engagement, cost efficiency, and return on investment (ROI).
Leadership and Vision:
- Serve as a brand ambassador and inspirational leader who embodies the company values, contributing to the wider business strategy.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in the hospitality industry or a similar sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong expertise in SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media tools.
- Experience in creating, executing, and monitoring marketing campaign budgets.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, AdWords, and other relevant software, ideally in the hospitality sector.
- Experience with SEO and PPC campaign implementation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
