What you'll do
Sales Team Leader(s) (STL) play a crucial role in expanding Vodafone UK's market share and making Vodafone the best place to work. The role involves leading, managing, and coaching a team of Account Managers who are responsible for building relationships with SMB (Small & Medium Business) organisations that have 10-249 employees. This includes nurturing and growing existing customers, handling both inbound sales requirements and generating outbound opportunities.
The team engages with their existing base of customers, selling both core portfolio and value-added services. The STL ensures the team meets KPIs and sales targets, focusing on multi-product sales for increased value and customer satisfaction This helps Vodafone solidify its reputation as a trusted partner. Ensuring that salespeople effectively utilise their colleagues, available tools and established processes is key to achieving their objectives.
Who you are
- Minimum 3+ years sales direct experience in technology, consultancy or professional services sectors as an individual contributor within the SMB market. Preferred 1+ years' experience in Sales Management or applicable alternatives that demonstrate core competencies.
- Demonstrative track record of success in delivering new business targets.
- Preferred track record of professional development, performance management and coaching of teams, using applicable methodologies. Virtual team/stakeholder management/mentoring experience will also be considered if applicable.
- Commercially astute. Ability to build ROI and business cases through great understanding of customer objectives and challenges linked to their strategic goals.
- Technically aware, with good base knowledge of our portfolio
- Ability to demonstrate strategically selling and execution of sales plans. Assessing addressable opportunity and then how this was converted into results.
- IT literate and experience of using Sales Tools e.g. CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, High Spot
