About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager - B2B Gift Cards, you will be responsible for the business development of the B2B Gift Card Programme for one of the UK's leading Grocers. You will also manage the day-to-day sales pipeline and targets set for sales, margin, and customer retention.

Our ideal candidate is proactive and will be commercially focused with proven experience in identifying new business opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships with potential clients, forecasting revenue from potential clients, closing deals and maintaining good relationships with our partners and clients.

This is a fully remote position located within the U.K.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and proactively secure new customers in existing and new distribution verticals.
  • Develop a robust new business pipeline to achieve new business revenue, margins and distribution targets.
  • Research prospects in targeted markets, lead qualification and opening conversations.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Conducting business presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.
  • Managing client contracts and account set up.
  • Proactively drive the growth of existing customers, develop and implement growth plans.
  • Writing business proposals and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Track and report on sales activities using relevant sales performance metrics.
  • Manage sales pipeline and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting.
  • Attend and participate in industry events and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' proven sales/business development experience in the B2B Gift Card industry.
  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and partners.
  • Excellent organisational, attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • A business acumen with a strategic ability.
  • Commercially astute and proactive.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in line with set goals and deadlines.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft products.
  • Ability to travel in the UK as and when required.
