This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team at Ipsum as a Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading sales efforts, managing client relationships, and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue and growth in the wastewater and drainage sector.

Your New Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand Ipsum Water Midlands' maintenance services.
  • Lead on pricing and commercial strategy for core maintenance works, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Identify, track, and convert new business opportunities, ensuring a steady pipeline of sales.
  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals for maintenance contracts and small projects.
  • Drive contract renewals and repeat business through proactive client engagement.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track leads, opportunities, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals and operational capabilities.
  • Support and mentor the sales team, sharing best practices and driving a high-performance sales culture.

Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within a commercial, multi-divisional business.
  • Strong industry connections within the wastewater and drainage sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV Inspections, Jetting, Tankering, and Lining.
  • Experience in pricing and commercial strategy for core maintenance works.
  • Sound understanding of industry regulations, legislation, and Health & Safety practices.
  • A technical or engineering background with experience in wastewater and drainage solutions.
  • Previous experience selling wastewater and drainage services is essential.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
