Position Overview:
As the Local Sales Manager at Cameron House, you will play a pivotal role in driving local business to the resort. You will focus on building and maintaining relationships with key local accounts, organisations, and partners to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets within the local meetings market.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing local clients to maximise repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct appointments, site visits and presentations to prospective clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Cameron House.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Maintain an active presence in relevant industry associations and groups.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in local MICE sales, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the local market and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel and attend events as required.
