Job Introduction
Sodexo Live! are thrilled to announce that we are seeking a talented and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at the prestigious Fulham Pier! This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key driver in establishing London's newest premium waterfront experience.
Reporting into the Head of Sales, you will lead your team in crafting and implementing a strategic business plan for venue sales events, programming a calendar of events, and successfully launching the new facilities into the London Market. You will develop a high performing sales culture within the team, embed standards, process and manage performance against KPIs and SLAs.
You will also proactively target new business pipeline as well as showcase excellent key account management. Further, you will work closely with the venue partner team to ensure a collaborative relationship, capitalising on all shared client opportunities.
The Fulham Pier will become the heart of the community and the standard bearer for indulgent experiences, which will attract both Londoner's and tourist from all over the world!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure you are delivering a high performing sales culture. This includes understanding and living our sales values and competencies, compiling a strategic plan in order to exceed targets, leading by example, following company standards of performance.
- Achievement of budgeted C&E/Programming sales objectives and profit targets.
- Manage, support, lead and motivate sales team with continuous growth and development plans and high levels of engagement, morale and motivation.
- To pro-actively sell and promote all venue conference and banqueting facilities by maximising business from new and existing customers.
- Comply with all statutory company policies and procedures to enhance employee engagement
- Maintain excellent and professional relationships with all internal and external clients at all times.
- To proactively target sales driving new business pipeline to support budgeted revenues.
- Conduct pro-active activities such as outbound calling, distribution of promotional material and networking.
- Achieve venue revenue targets by creating and executing the sales strategy for the site and deliver this in a timely manner.
- Proactive management of key accounts and local sales activity to win market share and increase penetration of large customers.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To deliver the optimum sales service to a venue that is like no other, and exceed our client's vision and expectation, you will already have a proven track record in proactive sales, preferably in hotel, venue or hospitality site.
You will have keen commercial acumen to grow and maximise sales in a highly target driven environment and the ability to align and influence stakeholders and work alongside other functions to achieve collective business objectives.
You will have a strong focus on customer relationship management and have the ability to support and drive your team to deliver exceptional sales results.
You will also have:
- Experience in budget management and measuring sales performance.
- A strong knowledge of the local market.
- Excellent communication verbal & written skills.
- Excellent business relationship building skills and understanding of customer needs.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- Proven success in achieving sales targets through strategic planning.
- Experience of working with key stakeholders internally and externally to achieve targets and attending internal and external review meetings to present the sales strategy and ongoing activity and results.
- Experiences of direct personnel management, recruitment and training.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent business relationship skills - You should have a proven ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external agencies.
- A strong understanding of financial reporting and commercial aspects of the business.
- A strong commitment to employee engagement and training, and understand the importance of a happy and engaged workforce.
