The July is looking for a hands-on Sales Manager for our newest addition: a premium apartment hotel and restaurant in the heart of London, Victoria scheduled to open in June 2025. The location will be a sustainable city oasis with 114 rooms for all types of travelers, plus two residential apartments. A restaurant, bar, and deli will serve neighbors and guests, keeping our spaces vibrant around the clock.

From Amsterdam to the world! Together with our shareholders APG and Aware Super, we are implementing our strategy of international growth as owner-operator. Our teams have the ambitious goal to develop multiple new apartment hotels across prime European cities like London, Dublin, Paris, Lisbon and Barcelona. Each location has the local stories and spirit interwoven throughout the apartment hotel's distinctive design.
The job
As our Sales Manager, you will play a key role in launching our new property in London Victoria. Your main responsibilities will include developing new commercial activities and increasing the profit margin for The July. This includes building our presence in the London market, creating strong networks, and identifying business opportunities.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and market trends
- Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Target new corporate accounts, group business and other events to drive business growth
- Proactively negotiate and secure both new and existing corporate contracts to surpass revenue targets
- Work closely together with different departments and HQ to maximize revenue
- Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Host site visits and presentations to potential clients
- Prepare and present hotel sales performance reports and local market trends to the Director of Sales
- Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
- Travel frequently to meet clients, attend industry events and sales team meetings in our HQ in Amsterdam
We are looking for:
- Minimum three or more years of proven experience in a similar hotel sales-based role
- Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Engaging personality
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- A passion for sales and have confidence in converting enquiries
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current market trends
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong negotiating and relationship build skills
